Calling all men!
YOU can sing with the Saxon Singers this semester. Saxon Singers is listed in the catalog as "Tenor/Bass" chorus, but we are WAY cooler than that! We'll be performing original "jazz" oriented works by African American composer, Leslie Burrs in November. Mr. Burrs, an amazing flutist will accompany the chorus, orchestra and band in his own compositions. Then we'll perform in December with the Women's Choir and will premiere a work by NYC composer/harpist, Hannah Lash. It's an exciting semester, a great way to learn to sing and a wonderful way to earn 2 ARTS (C) credits. Choir can be added as an overload at no additional cost. Saxon Singers meets on Monday from 7:00-8:30 and Wednesday from 5:20-6:50. Sign up for MUSC 278--don't just sit in your dorm room...get out and SING!!! Contact Luanne Crosby fclarke@alfred.edu for more information.
Respirator Training
Respirator training for employees and students is required annually for anyone on campus who works with hazardous materials which require the use of a respirator for class or work (attend one session).

If you "may" need to wear a respirator in the spring semester, come to one of these sessions.
